Skin Protection

Skin Type - Sensitive Skin

Only the mild versions of any skin care product should be applied to sensitive skin. Skincare products without soap are highly recommended. Extremely gentle and super fatty soaps may be used. A skin care product that contains fruit sugars and natural hydrating ingredients such as aloe and cucumber is also a good option. Using baby products is a foolproof way of ensuring you won't damage your sensitive skin.

Skin Type - Normal Skin

For normal skin, choose a skin care product with moisturizers or exfoliating properties. A cleansing skin care product with lactic, glycolic, or fruit acid complexes can rejuvenate your skin at the same time while cleaning it. Other cleansing products that can have a positive effect on your normal skin include skincare products that have moisturizing creams, botanical extracts, and aromatic essential oils.

Skin Type - Oily Skin

For oily skin, a good non-drying but oil-stripping skin care product is needed. The perfect skin care product for this is a soap or body wash that contains glycerin. Glycerin removes oil and grime and is so water soluble that it leaves no residue on the skin, making it perfect for those with oily complexion. Cleansing products with higher doses of alpha hydroxyl acids also work well with oily skin. It mildly exfoliates the skin, reducing the chances of acne which is a common problem amongst those with oily complexions.

Skin Type - Dry Skin

Dry Skin is flaky and dull looking with fine pores, the overall feel is dry texture. For dry skin types, deep moisturizing products are needed. Most good moisturizing products may make your face look oily, and sticky when applied and may attract a lot of dust to settle on your face. The best way to beat around is by applying such products at night (after face washing).
